Discussion Topic # 1 Who is Your Favorite Character from 5B and Why?

Is it Danny, the immature and needy youngster with a sensitive heart that requires protection?
Is it Ricky, the unassuming gentle artist who tries to make peace at the expensive of his own needs?
Is it TJ, the cocky oldest of the bottoms who pushes limits and agitates, but also lightens the mood through teasing humor?
Is it Antonio, the nurturing and sensible Top?
Is it Mitch, the domineering yet fiercely protective Top?

I would love to hear from readers to get their thoughts and insights on my series. It's always fun to hear how my characters affects others. Is there anyone you particularly relate to? Do you feel a connection to one? Who do you have a soft spot for? Does one make you wish you knew him? Does another make you glad to you don't?  Be honest, even if a character frustrates you or even makes you mad at times. The characters come alive when they can evoke feelings in others, so please share your thoughts.

Author's Note: About Discipline Relationships

This series is completely fictional and is written purely for your entertainment and fantasy pleasure. It is not intended to condone or condemn any particular lifestyle.

A word about discipline relationships–or domestic discipline DD:

DD is a form of discipline that typically takes place in committed relationships between consenting adults. These relationships involve designated roles and a defined hierarchy. Within this structure rewards and punishments are doled out to reinforce positive behaviors that are healthy for the individual and the relationship. Corporal punishment is often (although not always) part of the discipline. Spankings can range in severity. Although it is meant to be punitive, it is also intended to teach a lesson. The high level of trust it requires can create a greater sense of intimacy. It is the Dominant's responsibility to make sure they are administered safely.

Dominant personalities enjoy the authoritarian role where they make the day-to-day decisions and are responsible for the well being of their submissive partner. Those who prefer the submissive roles are seeking guidance and nurturing in the form of strict rules and clear expectations. For some is it a significant part of their identity and they derive sexual pleasure from the interchange.

Living in this life-style may seem restrictive to others, however, for those who are drawn to it, it can be both rewarding and freeing.

Needs and preferences vary among people and as long as there is mutual consent and benefits, everyone should feel free to explore the role that suits their individual make-ups.

My series is not intended to promote corporal punishment or DD. It is purely a story of five flawed individuals living within the confines of this structure. It is also not indicative of all DD relationships, as in all relationships, it is unique to the individuals involved.

Throughout the book I explore the dynamics of the relationship and its impact through the eyes of each character. Although discipline is a central tread throughout, it is not the main focus. Five in a Bed is primarily a romance story about love and commitment. Underlining it all the characters work hard to preserve the sanctity of their union as they help each other to grow as men. They may not always make the right decisions, but they make them with their hearts in the right place.

First Look at Book Two: Coming Later This Year!

It's the dawn of a new day for the men of the Five in a Bed series. With young Danny officially a member of their polyamorous relationship the New Year seems bright and full of promise.

On the surface it appears the biggest challenge for the five lovers is how to fit enough hours in the day to find time to satisfy their sexual cravings as they sink deeper and soar to new heights exploring the depths of their love.
